Athleta is an independent magazine about sports, but to call it that would be truly reductive. That's why, to tell you about it, we'll borrow the words of those who live and work with Athleta: "Athleta is the words of sport. It's a piece of writing that enhances the image. It creates the atmosphere, offering a personal, highly personal interpretation. It's a journey into the principle of resilience, into discovering one's own limits through the body. They are details to be discovered and colors to be savored. They are journeys to be undertaken."

The world of sports continues to evolve, and so do we. The visual and editorial journey of Athleta Magazine Issue 11 begins with the codified violence applied to social revolution: from the impact that the Muay Thai Dublin Academy has on the younger generations of the Irish capital, steering them away from its darker sides. Neil Gavin’s lens inspires the cover of this new issue, featuring a close-up of a young fighter, and the feature “Changing Narratives.” From the Celtic island to the heart of Europe, to the alpine and aristocratic setting of St. Moritz, which annually hosts the White Turf’s “White Parade”: an unconventional horse race surrounded by snow-capped peaks and cosmopolitan opulence, captured by RiseUp Duo. Just across the border, we encounter the dynamic duo of Asia and Alice D’Amato, key figures in the recent triumphs of Italian artistic gymnastics, which culminated in the historic Paris Olympics.
